The option to provide a pre existing PVC to mount was removed during the move from Deployment to StatefulSet via https://github.com/helm/charts/pull/17619/files. Seeing that influxdb OSS runs as a single replica, mounting a pre existing PVC remains a valid option, especially helpful for data continuity across cluster rebuilds where the user recreates a PVC claiming the original (and retained) PV.

Provided that int values can be quoted in the config, this fixes the issue where strings are not quoted in the rendered config.

all charts to use helm upgrade --install instead of helm install ; helm delete --purge replaced by helm uninstall (helm3 compatibility)

It looks like an issue, based on _helpers.tpl, should be only one "-". 
This causes an error and influxdb setup with the localhost instead of filled value.

Disable debug, fix default output, add mention on the readme about the fact that inputs cannot be customised.

This chart does not allow tweaking the input configuration. It is for
node and Kubernetes monitoring.

Use the `telegraf` chart if you need to configure the inputs
